Serving Humanity
We ensure safe passage for countless individuals returning home, we supported them through precautionary measures, provided essential food and medical services.
Safety
As many workers from our region had migrated to other states in search of daily wages, the sudden lockdown left the standed-unable to return home safely. In response, we launched a coordinated campaign with Government bodies and key supporters to facilitate their safe return.
Essentials
When the lockdown was imposed, everything came to an abrupt halt. For families who depended on daily purchases just to eat, survival became a daunting challenge. We responded swiftly – delivering two months’ worth of essential rations to vulnerable households.
Quarantine
In close coordination with Government authorities, we systematically identified returning migrants and facilitated quarantine arrangements across district, block and villages. Every step was taken to protect communities while ensuring safe, dignified isolation for those in transition.
Testing
In partnership with health department, we facilitated Covid-19 testing. Every effort was made to ensure timely screening, reduce risk of spread and build trust through transparent, accessible health support.
Awareness
To protect every village, we prioritized awareness as the first line of defence. Our team reached remote communities with clear, culturally relevant messages about safety, hygiene, symptoms and Government guidelines using loudspeakers, wall writing and videos.
Counseling
In uncertain times, fear and stigma often travel faster than the virus. That’s why we made space for listening. Through one to one, family and community sessions and dialogues, our team offered more than facts – we offered reassurance, clarity and hope.
