I am Bindeshwari Dhanwar from Shuklabhata, Kasdol (CG). Having two sons. I have studied up to 2std my husband 4std.My elder son left his education from 8std. My younger son who is in 6th std. Me and my family works as daily seasonal workers. We goto forest and collects NTFP, weave the bambu utensils, works as a NREGA daily wage worker and fishing.

In 2024 Kalp came to my small village with the idea of backyard poultry as a source of livelihood. Since then, I started taking regular chicks and by sale them and started saving amount from my poultry income. Till now I have sold chicks worth RS.18600/- Out of this income we purchased fishing net of Rs 3600/-. Now we don’t have depend on other people for providing fishing net. Previously we used to pay half of the income per day as a rent for fishing net. And if by chance it is too red then we have to pay more. Now we have our own fishing net and can use it whenever we want. I have already earned 4,000/- Rs by sale fish. We all are very happy for this constant and sure income source. I am very much thankful to Kalp and its poultry support. I request them to continue their support to us.”
